Broadwood 5K

Dear fellow runner,

I am writing to let you know about the next Olympians road race, a 5k run held at Broadwood Cumbernauld on Thursday 13 August. Having run one of our previous races, I hope you will be interested in participating in this race.

Details of the race and also copies of the entry form can be downloaded shortly from the club website – http://www.kirkintillocholympians.co.uk – but I have included for your use a copy of the entry form with this email. Please feel free to pass it on to friends too.

As you will see from the form, this year we, the Kirkintilloch Olympians, are raising funds for Macmillan Cancer Support and we hope you will be willing to assist us through the 5k run to do this. This is entirely optional and does not affect your entry to the race; you can run the race for £2 by completing the form under Option 1.

On the other hand, if you are able gain sponsorship for running the race, we would be very grateful if you can do this and you should complete Option 3 on the form. I will then send on further details. If not and you wish to support us, then Option 2 provides a chance to offer a small donation and we are grateful if you are able to do this.

I hope you will be encouraged to join us again on Thursday 13 August at Broadwood.
